What is BGLAM?

BGLAM is a student group that serves to unite gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered individuals and straight allies in the University of Michigan Graduate Schools.

 
What do we do?

 
  Promote awareness of LBGT health issues in the University of Michigan medical School
   
  Establish professional contacts and networking opportunities with medical professionals for  students through the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association (GLMA), LGBT People in Medicine (AMSA), UMMS and University Health Services
   
  Provide a socially supportive environment for LGBT students and allies at UMMS and within the University’s graduate schools
   
  Serve as a resource for UMMS individuals or groups requesting information about conferences, community activities and supportive venues
