Student Organizations and U of M Departments
Student organizations and university departments are always welcome for teambuilding and celebratory group activities at the Billiards Room. For your convenience, we accept SOAS and departmental transfers for payment. Depending on the day and time of your request, you may be eligible for a substantial group discount. The Management applies discounts on a case-by-case basis, but in general, discounts are granted for groups of 4 or more tables, except at times when the room is likely to be busy/full. The times listed below apply only during the school year; group discounts are generally honored every day from April through mid-August. The Assistant Manager will discuss this with you after you submit your request.
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday before 5PM: 50% discount
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday after 5PM: 33% discount
- Tournaments: Xbox stations unavailable 8-11PM every other M/W
- Billiards Club: Meets every other Sunday from 5-7PM
- Free Weekdays: Pool and games are free on Weekdays until 3PM. We do not accept reservations during this time.

Thursday, Friday, Saturday before 8PM: 33% discount
- Billiards Club: Meets every other Friday from 5-7PM
- Thursday, Friday, or Saturday after 8PM: standard hourly rates
Barring program/activity conflicts: These discounts are not valid when there is a program/activity conflict such as Billiards Club, video game tournaments, or another group reservation which limits the availability of tables to walk-in customers.
