Prizes & Awards

  • Team trophy and 5 medals for overall leading team after all individual events. A matching (larger) event trophy, initiated in December 2005, will remain at the Michigan Union Billiards & Games Room with each year's winning team listed.
  • 5 medals for Straight Pool team champs; team trophy for Straight Pool champs
  • 5 medals for 8-ball team champs; team trophy for 8-ball champs
  • 5 medals for 9-ball tournament team (highest total points)
  • Team trophy for 9-ball tournament champions (pair)
  • 1 medal for individual Sportsmanship Award (voted by peers)
    • Up to 3 medals for Sporstmanship Honorable Mentions
  • 1 medal for MVP (chosen by Tournament Director, based on performance)
    • Up to 3 medals for MVP Honorable Mentions
