Kevin Podsiadlik became a Life Master in the stratiflighted open pairs at
the Fort Wayne regional on Saturday, September 23.
- Mark Leonard recently became a Bronze Life Master.
Placings from recent tournaments

Ray Gentz and Brad Lehman were first overall in A in the single session
stratified pairs at the Midland sectional on Friday, September 29 (this
event was scored across the field on a 17 top).
- John Kokubo, Matt Klimesh, Deborah De Witt, and Stuart Collis were
first overall in B in the two session stratified swiss at the Midland
sectional on Sunday, October 1.
- Kathy Madison and Dean Carter were first overall in C in the single
session stratified IMP pairs at the Warren sectional on Friday, October
6.
- Jon Atkins and Joel Rosenberg were first overall in C in the
two session stratified open pairs and second overall in C in the single
session charity pairs at the Warren sectional on Saturday, October 7.
- Mark Leonard, Stuart Collis, Matt Klimesh, and John Kokubo were first
overall in B in the single session stratified BAM teams at the Oak Park
sectional on Thursday, October 19.
- Matt Klimesh and Debbie Waugh were fourth overall in A (third in B)
in the single session IMP pairs at the Oak Park sectional on Friday, October 20.
- Don McCulloch, John Kokubo, Stuart Collis, and Fred Bristol were first
overall in B in the two session stratified swiss at the Oak Park
sectional on Sunday, October 22.
- Lei Gu and Han Wang were second in C in the District 12 NAP contest in
East Lansing on Sunday, December 3; they won a trip to represent our district
in the NAP at the spring NACBC in Philadelphia.

- Brad Lehman, a recent doctoral graduate from the School of Music, has
gotten engaged. Gloria has been seen kibitzing, but not playing
(yet).
