NACBC
(North American College Bridge Contest)
Description
The NACBC is an ACBL-wide college event. It is a pairs event scored by
instant matchpoints. Each player in the top five highest scoring pairs
overall receives a $500 scholarship from the ACBL Educational
Foundation. This annual game is played on all participating campuses
across North America on the same day in the fall.
Eligibility
An eligible pair consists of two Junior players (age 25 or under), who
satisfy:
- Both players must be currently enrolled in the same school.
- All undergraduate participants must be enrolled at the time of the
contest for a minimum of three credit hours.
- Graduate school particiapants must be full-time students as
determined by their graduate program.
- To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must have a cumulative
2.0 or better average based on a 4-point system.
