North American Pairs Unit Final

Schedule

This year's North American Pairs Contest unit final will be held at:

Southfield Civic Center
October 11, noon

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be a resident of the unit and have qualified in the appropriate strat at a club qualifying game over the summer.

Stratifications

For purposes of this year's contest, points recorded before or with the June 1998 bulletin count.

Continuing in the Contest

The top half of the field in each flight in the unit final game qualifies to compete in the district final game on October 25, which will probably be held in Lansing. We will provide more details about the district final later. The top three pairs in each flight in the district final qualify to compete at the national level at the Spring Nationals. The top two pairs in each flight are subsidized by the ACBL; the third pair is eligible but not subsidized. The 1999 Spring Nationals are March 18-28 in Vancouver, BC.
