Organization and Staff Development

Reduced costs for participation in Institutes provided by the Consortium each year

  • Summer Institute on Organizational Change and Development
    An institute that showcases exemplary programs, practices and research related to organizational change and development in two-year colleges throughout North America.   • Think Tank
    An invitational conference in which presidents and senior administrators from our member colleges collectively consider the critical issues facing community colleges and develop creative strategies to enable colleges to respond effectively.   • Strategic Leadership Forum
    Access to, and consideration for participation in, the Consortium's new Strategic Leadership Forum - a dynamic collaboration to provide teams from colleges throughout the nation with skills needed to lead their institutions in the new millennium.

Reduced costs for participation in Consortium-sponsored training programs to build skills in strategic planning, strategy development, effectiveness modeling, institutional performance assessment, and creating institutional change.

Research and Publications

Multiple copies of the annual monograph produced by the Consortium on organizational change and development

Copies of special reports and research briefs prepared by the Consortium on topics such as organizational strategy, change, and leadership and management

Annual subscription to the Journal of Applied Research on the Community College

Contractual Services

Reduced costs for expert assistance provided by Consortium staff and associates on a short- and long-term basis in development areas such as institutional strategy, strategic planning, effectiveness modeling, organizational redesign, institutional performance assessment, and human resources planning. Customized in-service workshops for faculty and staff, and/or Boards, in planning and implementing effective organizational change are also available.
