Violence
From the beginning, a critical part of our mission at the University of Michigan Center for the Education of Women has been to engage in institutional and social change in order to remove barriers women face. All parts of the Center work together. In counseling, we learn of challenges women experience. Through our research, we shine a light on women’s status in the University and in society.
That research stimulates public conversations and leads to policy recommendations and other actions that CEW then pursues, often in collaboration with others on and off campus.
