Welcome!

The GSC has two main goals: representing the graduate students in the department and organizing fun social events throughout the year. As often as is needed, we meet with the Executive Committee of the Chemistry Department and bring your concerns and suggested improvements to their attention. Please contact us if we can be of help!

The more visible side of the GSC, however, is our social planning role. Each year we sponsor several events for the department, such as the annual summer picnic in August. In the last few years we have also organized ice cream socials, dinners for the first year class, trips to Cedar Point amusement park, and a night of bowling.
