  Educating Tomorrow's Global Leaders

The Center for International Business Education at Michigan is one of 31 centers located around the United States and is based at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business. It serves as an umbrella organization for innovative programs that prepare students, faculty and business-community leaders for competing in a globally interdependent world.

Some people say summer is a great time for gaining experience that we could not have in a classroom setting otherwise. With this in mind, I went to Sichuan, China for a 2-week teaching tour together with 9 college students from a diverse background, with the hope of creating an impact on local students who were severely affected by the earthquake. The students' curiosity to learn and their friendliness soon broke the cultural barrier between us, and such a close encounter is what makes this trip an amazing lifetime experience.
