Housing Suggestions
To make your stay at the University enjoyable, you will want to secure off-campus housing around North Campus or Central Campus. Your options include shared housing, such as fraternities, sororities, and student co-ops, as well as leased/rental apartments, houses, and rooms. Co-ops are owned and operated by the students who live in them rather than by landlords or the University. They are economical and convenient because members share the work necessary to run them. Co-ops also have a friendly atmosphere and tend to be more closely knit than residence halls and more sociable than apartments. For more information, go to http://www.icc.coop/.
