Doing Business in Australia Study and Intern Program

 

The Doing Business in Australia-Study and Intern program is available to undergraduate students enrolled at the University of Michigan. Coursework is geared toward sophomores and juniors; however, freshmen and seniors may apply and are admitted on a case by case basis.

Program Dates (including travel to and from program): May 7th, 2013-July 7th, 2013

Cost: Total Cost for Doing Business in Australia Study and Intern Program 2013:AU$5,950.00 per student.Plus a $500 USD program fee paid to CIBER.
(Please note that this does not include round-trip airfare from Ann Arbor to Sydney, visa fees,or spending money while in Australia, etc.)

Course Instruction and Credit:
• 3 graded credits- Strategy 320

Study topics include: Political, cultural, and legal environment in Australia, Australian economy, business structure, sustainability, exports, and current events.

Also included are company and cultural visits such as a trip to the Blue Mountains and visiting companies in the local business sector.

Three meetings will be held prior to the start of the program- these are mandatory and your attendance will be factored into your final grade.

At the end of the program, you will be expected to complete a reflection essay and program evaluation.

***Remember to reserve space for the 3-credit Strategy 320 class in your Winter 2013 schedule as the University will not grant more than 18 credits***

Students will be notified of their acceptance or deferral from the program by January 18, 2013
