Introducing Global Interdependence |
Exactly what is global interdependence and why is it so important? You'll learn the answer and much more about international-career options when you enroll in an introductory course called Global Interdependence (University course 245/Geography 245). This interdisciplinary class for undergraduate and School of Education students examines many interrelated factors - historical, cultural, political, economic and technological - that drive global interdependence. Guest faculty explore cases where ideas, people, goods, diseases, institutions and natural resources have crossed political and cultural borders. Discussion sections serve as forums for examining and integrating written material. |
For anyone seeking broad exposure to the University's international resources - and an opportunity to create a personal roadmap for international studies - this is a course you shouldn't miss! For more information, Contact the CIBE. Here's how to register: This course is available through LS&A and is listed as University Course 245 or Geography 245. Register through Wolverine Access. |
