Centers in the Department
The
Classical Studies Library – The library contains over 3,800 books, journals,
recent commentaries and major works of reference, and provides ample work
space for research. All undergraduate Classics concentrators are given the
privilege to have a key allowing special access to this room and the Classics

The
Classical Studies Reading Room – This room provides an excellent place
to study or read in comfort and comes equipped with computers for our concentrators.
The room also contains the Classical Studies Career Resource Center, a helpful
information source for students looking into graduate study, internships,
and study abroad programs. All undergraduate Classics concentrators are given
the privilege to have a key allowing special access to this room and the Classics
Library.
The
Kelsey Museum of Archaeology – The Kelsey Museum houses a collection
of nearly 100,000 objects from the civilizations of the Ancient Mediterranean.

The Papyrology Collection–
With over 7,000 inventory numbers and more than 10,000 individual fragments,
this collection of ancient manuscripts is one of the largest of its type
