Linda Sanders was assaulted, and emotionally abused by her boyfriend. She was very afraid of him. He was killed after he hit her in the face and knocked her down, and she knew he was going to kill her. She struggled for her life with him over a gun, and the gun went off. The trajectory of the bullet was indicative of a struggle, but Linda was arrested and convicted her Murder II. Her statement was taken illegally and in violation of her constitutional rights, and no evidence of abuse was presented at trial.
