Detroit
As we are committed to helping those at home as well as those abroad, we periodically volunteer in Detroit. In the 07-08 academic year, we organized several trips to the Muslim Center Soup Kitchen, where we assisted in the packaging of around one hundred boxes of food goods given to any who come for them. We also volunteered in the Huda Clinic, a free health clinic open to the public and run entirely by volunteer administrators and doctors.
