Help With Transportation
Domestic
We are always looking for help with transportation for picking up and dropping off the medical supplies we collect. A majority of our supplies are donated from hospitals in Grand Rapids and we make many trips each year to obtain these incredible donations. We often receive a 53’ semi truck of supplies per donation, so we are in need of trucks that are able to transport the supplies.
International
We also periodically ship 40’ containers to countries in need all over the world, which is easily our biggest expense. Any help in terms of financing a shipment or on getting a discount from a freight company is much appreciated. We are able to send millions of dollars of in-demand medical supplies to impoverished areas in the world for around $10,000 per container: a small price to pay given the potential the contents have to save lives.
