MICHIGAN-CHINA UNIVERSITY LEADERSHIP FORUM
May 12-26, 2012

April 2012

Dear Chinese Colleagues:

President Mary Sue Coleman and I are eagerly anticipating your visit to the University of Michigan (U-M) for the Michigan-China University Leadership Forum.  We have been preparing for your visit for months, with the hope that it will be wonderfully enriching and informative for you.  We will enjoy getting to know you and are eager to introduce you to our world-class public research university.  There is no doubt that we will learn from you while you are here, just as you will learn from us, and we look forward to many stimulating presentations and discussions.

In advance of your visit, you no doubt will want to read about the University of Michigan, so we have assembled a brief description of it on this website.  You will also find information about the City of Ann Arbor and the State of Michigan, as well as biographical information and photos of many of the presenters and other contributors whom you will meet while you are here.

There will be presentations and discussions every day during your visit.  As we gather information, we will update this website with outlines of the presentations in order to provide an overview of the topics that speakers will address.

You are probably eager to know the daily schedule during the two-week Forum. The draft Itinerary is on this website. We will provide details about the timing and location of presentations, tours, banquets, and expeditions when you arrive in Ann Arbor.

Have a good trip to Michigan. See you soon!

Sincerely,

cook
