Consulting Services CSCAR has expanded the consulting services for scholars at the University of Michigan and non-University researchers to help with questions related to the analysis of spatial/geospatial data sets: Workshops of principles and software packages related to basic and advanced spatial data analysis - Preparing Data for use with GIS packages
- Geocoding/Georeferencing
- Spatial database preparation - Importing/Conversion of Data into GIS packages
- a broad variety of conversion packages for spatial data is available
- help with conversion and importing of data sets retrieved from various sources
(e.g., USGS, Census 2000, ...) - consulting in project planning and execution - Spatial Statistics consulting
- Help with software questions:
Currently CSCAR supports installation and operation
of the following software packages:
- ESRI products (ArcGIS/ArcView/ArcInfo)
- TerraSeer products(BoundarySeer, ClusterSeer, STIS)
- ERDAS Imagine (Image Processing & GIS)
