Note for users with previous versions of SPSS (version 7.5 or later)

If you have customized menus or toolbars in your software and you want to keep your customized settings, do not uninstall the existing version of SPSS before installing SPSS 11.0.  Uninstalling the existing version will remove any record of your product customizations.  When you install SPSS 11.0, install over the existing version of SPSS in the same directory.  This will preserve your customized settings.

    Installation Process

To install SPSS, insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.  The AutoPlay feature will present a menu.  To run the Setup program, choose Install SPSS, and then follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
