Statistical Analysis with R

This workshop will introduce participants to R, an interactive language and environment for statistical analysis, computing, and graphics. R is an open source package quite similar to the S+ statistical analysis system, and can be downloaded for free. It provides users with a wide variety of statistical and graphical techniques, all of which are very powerful and easy to implement.

- Brady West is the primary R consultant at CSCAR. His CSCAR responsibilities include consulting on linear and logistic regression and related techniques, and he consults on topics in R as well as a variety of other statistical software packages.

- Any interested researcher or scholar.
- Prerequisite
- A Windows instruction class or equivalent knowledge. Some experience in applied statistical analyses and/or programming is recommended (please phone the instructor at 764-5286 with any questions).
