This Seminar will instruct participants on the strategy, planning and execution of the financing of an entrepreneurial company in the high technology and life sciences spaces.

Topics emphasized include valuation, capital structure, securities, harmonizing financing strategy with business strategy, frameworks for negotiating financing, management of the firm's equity and strategic alternatives. Speakers and presenters will include CEOs of successful start-up companies, venture capitalists, and faculty from the University of Michigan Business School.
