The 1990's began with momentous changes. Kegs were outlawed from the house starting in 1991. Members introduced new bylaws in 1992 and elected committee heads instead of having the "A" appoint them . Under the direction of the "F", the Judicial Board replaced the committee of standards . A bid committee replaced hash as the primary way of giving bids to rushees. New rooms were created in the house with the additions of Dudley's Garage and Alaska. Members modified the kitchen so that the house no longer needed to hire a cook and moved the pool table from the basement, where it had been for 30 years, up to the current pool room. The chapter celebrated its centennial in 1992 with a large dinner attended by many top Delta Chi officials.

Membership increased in the early 1990's. The 35 actives recorded for Winter 1995 represented the highest level of active membership since 1959. However the chapter again went into decline, and today fluctuates around 20 members. The position of assistant treasurer, which had been filled since the early 1950's, was last recorded as being filled in 1993. Modern conveniences such as e-mail have become commonplace. The electrical system and phone system of the chapter house was overhauled in early 1997. Members abolished the demerit system in place since the mid-1970's and replaced it with an honor system of self-governship. The chapter also experienced a resurgence of goal-setting in the hopes of improving chapter operations. The chapter reorganized the committee system in 1996 combining most standing committees into internal, external, and rush committees. The fraternity today has a strict anti-hazing policy that is becoming more common among fraternities on campus.

?The Michigan Chapter of the Delta Chi Fraternity has a long and rich history. Unfortunately, the first 25 years are not recorded in existing local records. However, eight decades of records that do exist provide insight into campus and fraternity life throughout the decades. It is every brother's hope that the Michigan Chapter will continue to grow and prosper in the coming years so that this chapter and its history may continue far into the future.
