DG Foundation Mission Statement:

"Do Good"

Delta Gamma Foundation provides resources for educational growth and philanthropic service for all members. The sisters of Delta Gamma have always been known for their passion for helping those in need. At Xi chapter, our members participate in approximately 800 hours of community service each semester. Consistent with Delta Gamma's national Service for Sight program, Xi works hard to provide assistance to the blind and visually impaired. From fundraising for the Kellogg Eye Center (a University of Michigan Hospital division) to collecting and donating hundreds of eyeglasses to those with visual impairments in our country and abroad, we strive to give back to those Delta Gamma has been assisting since 1936. In addition to all this, Anchorsplash, our annual philanthropy event, raises thousands of dollars and awareness for Service for Sight. At this exciting event, hundreds of Greeks compete in water and pool games all while supporting our cause. In addition to our dedication to Service for Sight, Xi chapter serves Ann Arbor's local retirement center, Glacier Hills. Philanthropy is key to our success as a chapter. We hope to continue to make a positive difference in our community and around the world in the years to come.

We are also one of the first chapters of Delta Gamma to host a lectureship, ours being on values and ethics. We were honored to have renowned philanthropist Kerry Kennedy come to the University of Michigan and give a lecture open to the entire university. After years of fundraising, this event was made possible by generations of Xi Chapter Delta Gammas. We are also one of just a few Delta Gamma chapters nationwide who have earned the opportunity to host such an event.
