xax500 1.0b3 has been released. It has rudimentary support for the creation of new entries.
A binary version of xax500 which should run under SunOS 4.1.3 is now available in ftp://terminator.rs.itd.umich.edu/x500/xax500/
I've had a look at our Motif license, and I don't see any restrictions at all on distributing applications linked with the Motif libraries. After I double-check this with our counsel's office, I'll make binary versions available.
As luck would have it, our Motif license reportedly does not allow us to distribute binaries linked with the Motif libraries. If anyone out there would be willing to compile and make available binary versions of xax500 for various platforms, I would be very, very grateful. Send mail to ggood@umich.edu if you can help.
xax500 1.0b1 has been released! This is the intial release of xax500, an X.500 Directory User Agent for X/Motif. There is a more extensive information page for xax500.
