Human Factors Short CourseClass of 1999 Photos |
| While the Human Factors Short Course is a 2 week intensive course and much time was spent in the main lecture room (as pictured), we try to keep things interesting by breaking up the day with demonstrations, hands on workshops, and student selected seminars. |
| In the evenings, tours of the various labs and facilities on and around campus are arranged. These pictures were taken at the Center for Ergonomics in the Industrial and Operations Engineering Building. The lab is outfit to study everything from tool use to driver reach. |

| Other tours during the week included a demonstration of the UMTRI Driver Interface Research Vehicle... |
| and a tour of the UMTRI Driving Simulator. |
| But even with all of the hard work, there was still time to enjoy a night on the town. Ann Arbor has quite a few fine eateries to choose from, including a few micro breweries such as Grizzly Peaks and the Ann Arbor Brewing Company. One of the most rewarding parts of short course is contacts students make with others in the class. |

And the Human Factors Short Course just wouldn't be complete without the annual picnic and volley ball game. |
