New! Update to Examination Scoring Services!
Effective January 3, 2011, we are using new software called ParScore from Scantron Corporation to score exams. This change was necessary to give our process stability and support. We believe this change will allow us to provide better service and support to our instructors. As a result of this change, the standard reports produced for instructors are changing.
An instructor who requests exam scoring receives the following reports:
For exams containing subtests, the following reports will be included:
Additional scoring options available include:
Complete the Exam Scoring Request Form (PDF)and return it with the corresponding scantron sheets to the Office of the Registrar (1210 LSA Bldg., 1st floor).
Additional blank sheets can be ordered using the Answer Sheet Request Form (PDF).
Effective January 3, 2011, we have a simplified pricing model. The cost to process Scantron forms is $24 plus 10 cents per sheet. So, processing an exam for 200 students would be $24 + $20 = $42.
Blank Scantron forms can be purchased at the cost of $9 for 100 sheets. Academic departments of the University usually cover the costs of answer sheets and exam scoring.
Effective January 3, 2011 invoices for services will no longer be provided. Departments can find any transaction details in the M-Pathways financial system.
