What Mr. Humprhey Dullard Has To Say:

"This boy needs a firm hand and a strict regiment of discipline. It is my duty to make him into an educated and moral adult. All children are conceived through sin; they are innately evil and corrupt. Without the tutelage of an older, morally edifying patron, like myself, he will grow up to be an evil and sinful man. Wasn't it our St. Augustine who claimed that infants are the limbs of Satan?"

"True, it is God's decision who will make a fine character. He instills within some children a good nature or else they are left to Satan's will (the latter seems to be the case of Little Tom). In short, I see myself as acting out God's will, His instrument if you will. My job is to seek out those good natured children and cultivate them according to His word."
