Our time with our subjects has ended and now it's time to find out how
they they turned out. Two of our kiddies got married, however, not who
you might guess. It was Lil' Georgie Moneybags and the sweet, beautiful,
but lower-class Pamela Pinch. When Pamela was 16 and George was 24, he
spotted her lugging laundry as he was riding by on his prize
thorough-bred. He was so struck by her beauty that he wanted her as his
mistress. She, however, was virtuous and was not giving it up without a
wedding ring. After she turned him down, he would wait for her every
morning to help her carry her laundry. They would talk as she washed and
would pass entire days with one another. One day, George decided that he
could not live his life without Pam and proposed. His parents had a
difficult time with the marriage at first, but eventaully accepted her
into the Moneybags family. Pamela and George had three children: Eve,
George V, and Stephanie. George managed the estate and Pamela spent the
rest of her life doing charity work and working to establish child labor
laws. Happy Ending...isn't it? Very Richardsonesque.
However, Tim was not as lucky as Pamelas and George. He died at 13 years
of age due to harsh labor conditions. He became a chimney sweep and one
bitter winter, weak from exhasution, he lay down on a roof to rest a
minute. He fell asleep and slid off to his demise.
Titania did what was expected of her and she married the Earl of
Bumsberry. He was a well-born, but extremely foppish and insensitive man.
Titania could not stand him and was not all that upset when he drowned on
a trip abroad. Titania lived out her life as an extremely rich widow who
had numerous affairs with younger, aristocratic men.
