If you want to get information about local, national, and international events, here's where to look. Newspapers are generally printed weekly, thrice weekly, or even daily, like the popular London Evening Post. News sheets, on the other hand, are printed to deliver specific events and the latest news, so they don't always come regularly. Both claim to give true, unbiased coverage of their events, but as I mentioned above, this isn't always the case. Each publisher has his own allegiances and opinions, and there's a lot of pressure from government or religious authorities to convey certain messages.65 All the same, they do a bang-up job of conveying new ideas to the public.
Don't be fooled by their titles: these writers certainly don't stick to just giving information about daily events.66 It's almost impossible for me to tell you what might be inside these pages, since they vary so widely in their range of topics and length.67 Some of the items you might find aren't really "newsworthy" at all, such as common conversation, gossip and rumors.68 Many papers also contained letters from the editors and public and essays on contemporary moral and intellectual thought.
