The Abolitionist Library

There was a significant increase in the publication of letters, poetry, and literature that endorsed the end of slavery toward the end of the 18th century. Some well-known names included Sancho, Cowper, William Blake, and Ramsay (87). Many popular authors were formally slaves themselves. In this gallery, you will have a chance to read the work of some of the biggest names in the English language during the 18th century.
You are more than welcome to take your pick between Black Writers, Poetry, and the writings of Laurence Sterne!
