3/4 lb. Beef (daily ration, weighed with bone and gristle)
Place the water in a copper boiler. Place over a a fire,
until water boils. Add beef to water. When beef is boiled, remove. Serve
Place Beef Broth in boiler. Heat. Serve with bread.
Place vegetables and water in boiler. Boil. Serve with Bread.
