The article gave a brief overview of the statistics for the hotel. Rather than provide history, legacy, or related information we only used the article for numbers and dimensions of the hotel. For example, the number of rooms and their caliber that the hotel had was the information we extracted from the journal article to use for our website.

"The Drake Hotel: Press Kit." Chicago : The Drake: Public Relations Department, 2006.

The Drake Hotel Press Kit is where we found the majority of our information for The Drake. Although obviously the perspective was skewed because the pamphlet was distributed by the hotel itself, it offered an extensive outline of the hotel, its history, legacy, dining and entertainment, awards received, renovations and changes made, and its place in popular culture. All the information we were looking to find about our hotels was offered in the complementary press kit. It was by far our best resource for The Drake Hotel.

"The Drake Hotel." The Magnificent Mile . 2006. Centric Web. 8 Mar. 2006 <http://www.themagnificentmile.com/History.cfm>.

The Magnificent Mile website is an independent resource not affiliated with The Drake Hotel that provided a limited amount of information on The Drake's place in history. The specific history section of the website that we used showed a timeline for the formation of The Magnificent Mile as we know it to be today. The timeline describes how The Drake Hotel added to the famous avenue's esteem and reputation at the high of sophisticated consumerism.
