The following changes were included in the 2.1.3 release:

Animal Use Forms

When selecting an animal location on an animal use form for a protocol that has unassigned locations, you will now see a complete list of allowable building/room combinations in place of the "unassigned" location option. This will allow only the correct rooms to be selected based on building. This replaces the field where the room number was entered manually.
The delivery date for an Animal Purchase Request or a Notification of Delivery form is restricted to fall within the range of the protocol approval and expiration dates. For example, a PI requests to order an animal and attempts to select a delivery date from the calendar that is two months into the future, but the protocol associated with this animal use form expires in one month. The PI will not be able to select a date beyond the protocol expiration date.

Email Notifications

The instructions in the email sent to PIs and Lab Contacts regarding changes required to an application/protocol have been improved. The new instructions specify that the editor update the protocol itself to include the information requested by the RCA Reviewer.


The person details page has been restored to the original format, making it easier to navigate and use.
There is now a validation to check for duplicate values when the UCUCA Office is adding to Route of Administration or to Unit of Measure (for Agents).
The issue involving ULAM Accounting receiving blank rows for shortcodes entered incorrectly has been resolved.
