The Amendment creation process has been enhanced to alleviate user confusion. Previously, study teams saw a view indicating the system was creating their amendment, even if they never actually initiated the process. Now, if the study team fails to complete the amendment cover sheet correctly, they see a new view that indicates the amendment has not been created and instructions on how to finish the process.
Co-Investigators are no longer required to receive all system-generated email notifications. Now, they may be opted-in or opted-out. It is up to individual study teams to determine whether all Co-Investigators should receive all email notifications related to a given project. Principal Investigators and Faculty Advisors are still required to receive all email correspondence. For that reason, study teams no longer see the "Include this Person on all email communication.." question when adding a Faculty Advisor to a study.
