Core IRB Staff have the ability to "flag" a study with an action item via the Manage Action Items activity in the submission workspace.
1. From the applicable submission workspace, click the Manage Action Items activity.
2. Click Add in the Manage Action Items activity window.
3. In the Add Action Item window, select the action item category and enter the date action should be taken. If desired, enter comments in the field provided.
4. Click OK and Add Another if you wish to add additional action items, or click OK to return to the submission workspace.
Submissions with open action items are displayed on the Open Action Items tab in the Core IRB Staff home workspace.
Action items are displayed on the IRB tab in the applicable submission workspace. Click the View link to display a summary of the action item.
From the submission workspace, click the Manage Action Items activity, and then click Update next to the applicable action item.
