Since all documentation is required electronically, you may occasionally need to scan documents that you receive in hard copy. Scanning locations are located throughout all campuses. Below is a list of locations with scanning services for both high-volume and low-volume (do it yourself)scanning and their associated costs.
For information on purchasing a scanner contact your department computer support.
IMPORTANT When requesting scanning services, be sure to request low to medium quality PDFs as your output. Normally a resolution of 300-600dpi is sufficient for documents submitted in eResearch. This resolution also keeps the file size low, which is very important for larger documents due to the upload size limit.
If you have questions about scanning your documents, contact email@example.com.
