• The story of American elections. Presented by the Library of Congress, this site has lots of information about voting in America from the early days to recent times.
• TIME Magazine's profile of Colin Powell. Many people wanted him to run for President in 1996, but he decided against it.
• Dr. Lenora Fulani is the head of the Committee for a Unified Independent Party (CUIP), and was the Patriot Party's candidate for President of the United States in 1996.
