Getting to Campus
Airport Information
Travel to UT-Austin from Austin Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA)
Here are three ways to get to campus from the airport:
1. Capital Metro Bus System: Take the #100 bus to campus and downtown.
It will only cost $1.00 More information about bus schedules can be found
at www.capmetro.org/ROUT.HTML
2. Super Shuttle: This is a shared-ride van and you don’t need a
reservation for travel from the airport. Just head to “Ground Transportation”
and ask for the shuttle. A ride into town should cost about $10.00. You
can use this service on your way back to the airport, but you do need
a reservation. Reservations can be made at 512-258-5286
3. Taxi cabs: there will be plenty of these around in the front of the
airport. Taxi service to campus is about $20.00
Travel around Austin:
Buses
Capital Metro is the most efficient way to get around town. Regular
city buses cost $.50 per trip. A special service in Austin called the
“Dillo” provides free transit around downtown and the campus
area. The “Gold” and “Red” lines of the “Dillo”
can be caught at the corner of 22nd and Guadalupe and run very frequently.
