FVSA Video Podcast - Learn More

There are three things you need to know about the FVSA Podcast.

1. What the gosh is it?

The FVSA Video Podcast is a regularly updated and published student film video podcast. Using an RSS client or a program that supports Video Podcasts (our favorite is iTunes) you can subscribe to the video podcast and have new student films download automically when they are updated. Participants must be University of Michigan students, however anybody can subscribe and download the films.

Subscribe Now! (Requires an RSS Reader or iTunes) or Subscribe via iTunes (Preferable and Recommended, and still Free!)

2. How to participate

The first step is go out and shoot a great student film. Done? Good.

Next step is to encode your film in the proper format to ensure the best quality at the lowest file size. Once your film is a digital file, upload it to your IFS space. Make sure to publish it in your Public>html directory.

When you are done, the web address of your movie will be http://www-personal.umich.edu/~uniqname/name of movie.mov . Remember the address so you can type it into the submission form.

If you have any problems, send us an e-mail
