1^st Annual Softball Marathon Event Date: Saturday April 14 Charity: Make-a-Wish Foundation Event Description: The softball marathon is another new charity event and unites with the Spring Swing to create a day of charity to culminate the school year. This double-elimination, 16 team tournament will provide a wonderful environment for company team sponsors to interact with UMBS students that will comprise the majority of the team. Lead sponsors name will be placed in the title of the event and on the trophy and will receive first right of renewal for future years. Team sponsors should expect to send company representatives to play in the games and serve as team captains. In addition, they should also send 10 company T-shirts to be distributed to UMBS students that will be assigned to their team. All sponsors will appear on banners and be listed in the school paper. All sponsorship contributions will be passed directly to Make-a-Wish.
