We hold auditions at the beginning of each fall semester.

The Audition:

Auditions are only 10 minutes long and very low-pressure.  When you are called in we would like you to sing a verse and chorus of a song that best shows off your voice.  It can be any style you want, i.e. Pop, Country, Folk, etc.  Whatever you sing, have fun with it.  We will also run you through a couple warm-up exercises, test your range and have you try some rhythm exercises, vocal recall, some easy sight-reading, or some blending exercises.  Music reading ability is not required for the group, just helpful, so don't skip auditions because you have no solid musical background.  After we hear all the auditions we will choose who we want to call back to test with the group.  Call back auditions usually take about two hours.
