North Campus Artwalk and Galleries
North Campus is rich in beautiful woodsy settings replete with flower gardens, ponds, fountains and outdoor sculptures. It is a restful place to spend the day walking, viewing sculptures, visiting art galleries, picnicking and if you plan ahead-- enjoying a recital or dance performance.

There are sixteen outdoor sculptures on the grounds of the campus, including Maya Lin's well-known installation, The Wave Field. A photo of rippling water inspired Maya Lin. She hand raked and shaped a cozy courtyard into an intriguing living sculpture of gently undulating grass covered hills. The dips are big enough to sit inside of, to study or just watch the clouds roll by.
