Matthaei Botanical Gardens The gardens at Matthaei offer an indoor conservatory with several different habitats, ponds, and meandering paths. It's a wonderful tropical retreat on a sunny winter day! Outdoor nature trails wind through lovely native Michigan habitats and there are also splendid formal gardens including The Azary Rose Garden, Gateway Garden, Herb Knot Garden, Perennial and Rose Garden, Shade Garden, and Woodland Wildflower Garden. |
