Howdy! You're viewing my personal tribute to Spongebob Squarepants, the cartoon created by Stephen Hillenburg. The TV program has been on the air since Nickelodeon's 1999 Kids' Choice Awards. This is one of the oldest Spongebob fansites on the web, founded in March of 2000. =)
2008-07-17: I hope everyone is having a good summer! I do apologize if you've sent me an e-mail and I haven't responded - I'm working on it. IMPORTANT: Please use clix.to/sbsp to arrive at my site, as jellyfishing.net has expired! If I forget to update for a little while, Wikipedia's Spongebob page has fairly accurate information. There is also a guide to Spongebob episodes. I am in need of updates for the lyrics page. For songs whose lyrics I do not have, please e-mail me with the lyrics typed up, and I will credit you on the site. I definitely need song lyrics from the episodes To Love a Patty and Money Talks, plus the musical numbers from Atlantis Squarepantis. I already have the songs from Selling Out, Wishing You Well, and Sing a Song of Patrick. (Thanks to Joshua and Schuyler for sending lyrics a long time ago - I will try to get them up soon.) Thank you for your help! Lyrics are under "music" in the menu at left. ¡Tengo letras españolas! ¿Te gustaría contactarme? I don't have any full episode downloads. If you want to see all the episodes, it is difficult to find them online, aside from visiting TurboNick.com. Your best bets are to purchase the DVDs or record the show from TV (it's on numerous times per week - check your local TV listings).
Nickelodeon's "seasons" are not one full calendar year each, nor does the channel air new episodes on a regular basis. Although Spongebob Squarepants has been on the air since 1999, there are not seven seasons of the show. The Spongebob production team took a break in order to work on the movie, which premiered in 2004. Spongebob Season 5 - announced November 9, 2005 Spongebob Season 6 - announced December 12, 2006 Spongebob Season 7 - announced March 13, 2008
Premieres of post-4th-season episodes in the U.S. (view episode synopses here):
2005
2006
2007
2008 Unlike the first three season DVD sets, Nick has decided to release the fourth and fifth seasons in two separate DVD sets each. Season 4 Vols. 1 and 2 and Season 5 Vol. 1 are available now; Season 5 Vol. 2 is still to come.
Use TVGuide.com to find out which episode titles will air (you may need to register, input your ZIP code, and select the type of TV service you have). In the U.S., half-hour episodes air on Nickelodeon and also the premium cable channel Nicktoons Network (formerly "Nicktoons TV"). Don't miss him!
Well, this beloved site of mine has been relocated a few times. Don't go to buzhwa.com, liquid2k.com/buzhwa, or jellyfishing.net anymore; they won't work. You can reach this main page of my site via umich.edu/~goodwins/bob or the shorter URL clix.to/sbsp. March 1, 2006 was The Shrine's sixth birthday! This layout premiered on February 29, 2004. Gaby made the sweet image along the left margin and some link buttons too, and Foxy Grandpa provided hex codes for the colors. The sidebar image is an altered part of a screenshot from the episode Texas. The font used for the headings and navigation is Dauphin.

Spongebob Squarepants is the property of Stephen Hillenburg, United Plankton Pictures, and Nickelodeon. I am just a fan with a website devoted to the little square dude. =) This site is and always will be completely non-profit. |
