Login Service Availability
AvailabilityITCS system administrators make all reasonable efforts to keep the ITCS Login servers running at all times.ITCS system administrators reserve the right to reboot any or all Login servers between the hours of 5:00 a.m. (EST/EDT) and 8:00 a.m. with a half hour warning. Extended outages for hardware upgrades and other maintenance procedures will generally occur on Sunday morning between 5:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. These outages will be announced at least two days in advance with a message that appears when users log in. System administrators monitor the Login Service from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during weekdays in order to respond quickly to system problems. During off-hours (6:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. weekdays, and 6:00 p.m. Friday to 9:00 a.m. Monday), system administrators may not be able to attend to problems that occur until the next monitoring period.
Service Reboot ScheduleAll ITCS Login servers reboot automatically every Sunday at 5:00 a.m. (EST/EDT). No new connections are permitted during the (1) hour preceding the machines' scheduled reboot.
