A GS265-1998 web-based project on the interaction between 
Earth Processes and Society

The chapters below represent University of Michigan undergraduate student projects on the interaction between Earth processes and our Society.  These web project are part of a first-year seminar class (Geological Sciences 265), and were written and designed by each team seperately.  The webpapers present a mix of scientific principles and human responses, with the aim to educate the non-specialist. In all these paper you will see the call for better education, as we are rapidly and perhaps irreversibly changing our favorite planet.
