• 2001 Tokyo Art Directors Club Exhibition
July 3 - July 31, 2001

Over a period of 4 days, 85 ADC members judged roughly 10,000 entries that were produced between May 2000 and April 2001. The works covered a variety of fields, including posters, newspaper and magazine ads, book and editorial designs, general publications, corporate logos, and tv commercials. The award-winning works and other outstanding entries by ADC members will be displayed at ggg; those in the general category (by non-members) will be displayed at G8. Award-winning artists will be invited to give gallery talks at both venues. For more than a half century, the ADC (Tokyo Art Directors Club), founded in 1952, has continued to be a major force in the Japanese advertising and design worlds. The ADC awards receive close attention as one of the greatest honors that year in the Japanese advertising and design worlds. In addition, every December the works selected that year are published in the ADC Annual, which is widely disseminated around the world.
