| This exhibition includes works by the Ami school, the Sesshin school, and painters from the Kanto region as it displays the diverse developments in ink painting which occurred over the course of the Muromachi period. The ink works of Chinese Zen priests who traveled to Japan and helped develop Zen in Japan are an important focus of the exhibition. | ||||
