			The early years of the 20th century were a time of tremendous change and growth for Japan and was reflected in the photographic artistry that emerged during these decades. This exh ibit will present over 70 images by 35 photographers whose work evolved from a pictorialist tradition to the beginning of a modernist aesthetic.
